Melodic Platforming

Made in 48 hours for the GMTK 2023 Jam. Theme: Roles Reversed (implemented by the fact that the MIDI keyboard and gaming controller's roles are reversed).

Premise:

After accidentally leaving your MIDI keyboard connected, you need to beat this platformer game with it. Every action plays a note - and they're all recorded! Your goal is to beat the platformer while creating the best piece of music you can. At the end of the game, you can listen to your recording, save it to your device (only available in the downloaded version), and try again to create a better melody.

Controls:

A/D - move left and right

W/E - jump + double jump

N/M - additional notes (no effect on gameplay, purely contributes to your end music)

Space Bar - drum beat (no effect on gameplay, purely contributes to your end music)
